Als langjähriger ZZ Top - Fan (seit 1985 ) gefiel mir dieser Beitrag eines anderen Fans:

It seems every band, group, rap artist, and singer for the past 15 or so years have been trying to make the weirdest music possible. Weird music is everywhere today. It seems weird music is the norm now and regular music is abnormal(rare). ZZ Top was making weird music when no one else was. They've been at it for the last 36 years. Long before it became fashionable to do so. ZZ Top was making weird, strange, bizarre music when practically no one else would even consider it. ZZ Top never tried to fit in, play follow the leader, or do what everyone else was doing. They always thought out of the box. Once again ZZ Top was ahead of their time and always way ahead of the pack. ZZ Top has always taken a cutting-edge, futuristic approach to their music. All the rest are just now catching up.

ZZ Top are the "True" KINGS OF WEIRD!

ZZPS: More experience at making weird music than anyone. Doing it "far" better than anyone!
